Detailed Introduction
The crusher crushes materials to the desired particle size through methods such as extrusion, impact, and grinding. Common types include jaw, hammer, impact, cone, etc. The working principle is different.
Main types and working principles of crushers
Jaw crusher
Working principle: Drive the eccentric shaft with a motor to periodically bring the moving jaw plate closer and farther away from the fixed jaw plate. The material is crushed under the action of compression, shearing, and grinding, and then discharged from the lower part after crushing.
Features: Simple structure, easy maintenance, suitable for jaw crushers in mining and construction industries.
hammer crusher
Working principle: The hammer rotates at high speed to impact the material, causing it to collide with the lining plate or filter strip. Through multiple impacts and grinding, it is crushed, and qualified materials are discharged through the sieve holes.
Characteristic: Good crushing efficiency, but the moisture content of the material should be below 8-10 to avoid clogging the hammer crusher.
Counterattack crusher
Working principle: The rotor rotates at high speed, throwing the material towards the counterattack plate. Through repeated impact and fragmentation, a "stone hitting stone" effect is formed to reduce machine wear.
Features: The product has uniform particle size and is suitable for medium hard material impact crushers.
cone crusher
Working principle: The moving cone is driven by an eccentric sleeve to periodically squeeze and fix the cone, causing the material to be crushed and ground. Springs or hydraulic devices can adjust the discharge particle size to protect equipment.
Characteristics: Good output, commonly used in ore crushing cone crushers.
Roll crusher
Working principle: Two rollers rotate towards each other, and the material is squeezed and crushed between the rollers. The size of the gap determines the particle size of the discharged material; When encountering unbreakable objects, the drum automatically retracts the protective device.
Features: Less over crushing, suitable for brittle material double roll crushers.
Other types
Impact crusher: using impellers to accelerate materials to form "vortices" that collide with each other, achieving multiple crushing with minimal wear.
Mobile crusher: integrates multiple crushing methods, suitable for mobile operations such as construction waste treatment.
Summary: Based on material characteristics and production requirements, the core principles of different crushers include mechanical forces (extrusion, impact, shear) and dynamic forces (eddy current collision).
