Explosion relief valve is a safety device installed on explosive gas or dust pipelines and equipment, mainly used for automatic pressure relief in case of system overpressure to prevent explosion accidents. Its core function is to release pressure instantly through membrane rupture, and automatically reset through the valve cover after pressure relief to avoid secondary explosion. The explosion-proof valve is made of carbon steel or alloy material, and its structure includes components such as valve body, clamp, valve cover, and heavy hammer. Suitable for environments with different pressures (≤ 0.1MPa) and temperatures (≤ 350 ℃). This device is widely used in industries such as building materials, metallurgy, petroleum, and chemical, and can protect the safe operation of equipment.

working principle

When the internal pressure of the system exceeds the set threshold, the rupture of the membrane achieves instantaneous pressure relief, and the valve cover automatically resets under gravity or electromagnetic drive to form a closed structure, avoiding the risk of secondary explosion. When replacing the rupture film, the valve body component needs to be lifted vertically upwards, and the user needs to prepare the diaphragm according to the working conditions.

structural composition

The explosion-proof valve is mainly composed of a valve body, a rupture film, a clamp, a valve cover, and a heavy hammer/electromagnetic component. The clamp is fixed with bolts to break the membrane, and the valve cover is reset under the action of gravity after popping up.
