U-shaped screw conveyors are mostly used in grain,chemical industry,building materials,metallurgy,mining,electric power and other departments.They are mainly used to transport small granular,powdery and small block materials.It is not suitable for conveying materials that are easy to deteriorate,have high viscosity and agglomerate,and have high water content.

The U-shaped screw conveyor is a type of screw conveyor.It is suitable for small-scale operations and has stable transportation.It can play a good role when the transportation site is limited.The sealing is powerful,which has great advantages for occasions with large dust and environmental requirements,and can avoid the occurrence of dust during transportation.However,the U-shaped screw conveyor is not suitable for long-distance transportation,the cost is higher than that of the belt conveyor,and it is easy to cause damage such as extrusion to fragile materials.

The U-shaped screw conveyor is referred to as LS screw conveyor,which is what we often call a horizontal screw conveyor.The shell adopts a U-shaped outer wall and looks like a U-shaped groove,so it is named U-shaped screw conveyor.The design and structure of the whole machine is relatively simple,consisting of U-shaped groove,feed port,flange,driving device,lining plate,upper cover and other components.The cross-sectional area is small,the sealing of the body is strong,the operation of the equipment is simple,and there is no hidden danger for the operator.The manufacturing cost of the U-shaped conveyor is low,and the energy consumption of the conveyor is large.
