Air conveying trough is a device for horizontally conveying dry powder materials, such as cement and raw materials in cement enterprises. It is connected by trough bodies made of thin steel plates and arranged at a determined slope along the conveying direction. There is a breathable layer sandwiched between the upper and lower shells of the trough body.

The air conveying trough is a device that uses airflow to transport granular materials along the pipeline. There are three types: suction type, pressure type, and hybrid type. Its working principle is to utilize the kinetic energy of airflow to suspend granular materials, and transport them along the pipeline with the airflow

① Inhalation type. After the fan is started, the entire system presents a determined vacuum level. Under the action of pressure difference, air flow causes the material to enter the suction nozzle and be transported along the conveying pipe to the separator at the discharge point. The material is separated from the airflow and then unloaded from the bottom of the separator. After being purified by a dust collector, the airflow is discharged into the atmosphere through a muffler. The advantage is that the feeding is simple and the material can be absorbed from several places at the same time. But the conveying distance is short and the productivity is low. High sealing performance is required.

② Pressure delivery. The blower presses air into the conveying pipe, and the material is supplied from the feeder. The mixture of air and material is pressed into the discharge area along the conveying pipe, and the material is discharged through the separator. The air is purified by the dust collector and discharged into the atmosphere. In contrast to inhalation, materials can be transported to several places simultaneously, with a long conveying distance and good productivity, but the structure is complex.

③ Mixed type. The combination of the above two forms.
