Overview of Airflow and Dust Particle Movement in the Shackleton Cyclone Dust Collector:

The majority of the rotating airflow follows a circular cylinder along the wall, spiraling from top to bottom to the bottom of the cone, forming a descending external rotating dust airflow. The centrifugal force generated during the strong rotation process throws dust particles with a much higher density than the gas into the wall. Once the dust particles contact the wall, they lose their inertial force and enter the ash hopper with velocity, momentum, and gravity. After reaching the bottom of the cone, the rotating downward airflow rotates upwards along the axial part of the dust collector and is discharged through the exhaust pipe of the dust collector, forming an upward internal rotating airflow.

Another small portion flows from the air inlet to the top cover of the cyclone dust collector, and then flows downwards along the outside of the exhaust pipe. When reaching the lower end of the exhaust pipe, the reverse upward middle airflow is discharged from the middle air pipe, and the dispersed dust particles are also carried away.
