Detailed Introduction
The working principle of a bucket elevator is to transport materials from below to above through the continuous movement of the lifting bucket.
The bucket elevator mainly consists of traction components, rollers (or sprockets), tension devices, feeding and unloading devices, driving devices, and hoppers. During the work process, the conveyed materials are uniformly fed into the feeding port. Under the drive of the drum, the hopper fixed on the conveyor belt picks up the material and then rises together with the conveyor belt. When the material rises to the simplified top of the top drive drum, the hopper begins to flip. Under the action of centrifugal force or gravity, materials are discharged from the discharge port and sent to the next process. There are two types of traction components for bucket elevators: tape and chain. The hopper is fixed on the traction belt with special head screws and elastic washers, with a width 35-40 millimeters larger than the hopper. Sleeve chains or sleeve roller chains are commonly used for vertical elevator chains. It has the characteristics of simple structure, small footprint, large lifting height, stable operation, low noise, and suitable speed
