Double axis screw conveyor

The double axis screw conveyor is equipped with two screw shafts, one on the left and one on the right. Two spiral axes rotate in different directions, relying on the spiral blades to push the material forward, and the material between the two axes is between the spiral blades. Alternating rotation and transportation back and forth to avoid material blockage caused by material accumulation.

Double axis screw conveyors are divided into two types: double axis screw conveyors; And double shaftless screw conveyor. In addition to conveying products, it also has functions such as mixing and stirring. Mainly used for conveying materials with poor fluidity, large or large materials that require stirring. Usually, they run horizontally and are suitable for feeding materials under silos.

Advantage:

1. Two screws rotate through a pair of gears at the axial extension position. The blade flow rate is greater than that of a single screw blade, and the conveying capacity is 1.5-2 times that of a single screw conveyor.

2. Two seamless steel pipes are each equipped with solid screws, which turn in different directions to avoid blockage caused by screw shaft blockage.

3. The material can be loaded and unloaded at any point, and the middle feeding and multi-point feeding can be carried out in different positions. The upper groove cover can be disassembled for easy inspection of the operating status and timely cleaning of residual materials.

4. Due to the use of a double helix shaft design, it is equivalent to a mixer simultaneously mixing materials, but the price is suitable for the mixer, saving costs.

5. Sealed structure, the material will not overflow or be contaminated by other dust, which can prevent the material from being contaminated or overflowing.

6. There is a discharge valve at the lower end of the feeding port, and the screw can be reversed for discharge, which is convenient for discharge and cleaning.

Spiral blades are welded onto the rotating shaft of a double axis screw conveyor. The surface types of blades include physical surface types, strip surface types, and blade surface types. The spiral shaft of the double helix conveyor has a thrust bearing at the end of the material movement direction, which reacts with the material on the spiral shaft. When the fuselage is long, an intermediate suspension bearing should be added. The direction of rotation of the double screw conveyor shaft determines the direction of material transportation. Generally speaking, the design of a double helix conveyor is based on the design of rotating blades for a single conveyor. When conveying in reverse, the service life of the conveyor will be greatly extended and reduced.

The connection between the spiral shaft and the suspension bearing, as well as the head and tail shafts, adopts an embedded tongue type, which does not require axial movement for installation and disassembly, and is easy to maintain. The core shaft is long, with less lifting and fewer fault points.

2. Adopting a diameter changing structure, increasing the volume of the suspension bearing, avoiding contact between the suspension bearing and the material, the service life of the suspension bearing can reach more than two years.

3. All transmission components adopt a floating connection method, and the suspension bearings are of a general structure, so that the spiral body, suspension bearings, and tail always form a unified rotating floating body, which can transport resistance within a certain range, avoid material blockage, and prevent material blockage.

4. The head and tail bearing seats are located outside the housing, and all bearings adopt multi-layer sealing boxes and sealing technology, with a long service life.

Compared with other conveying equipment, it has the advantages of small cross-sectional size, good sealing performance, smooth operation, safe loading and unloading in the middle, and simple maintenance.
