The dust removal system of the coking plant adopts PLC automatic control technology, which is centrally monitored by the dust removal ground station control room and equipped with manual control switches for easy maintenance. The characteristic of this system is the use of coal and coke dry dust removal technology, which combines coal dust removal and coke dust removal into a set of dust removal system. The coke powder adsorbed on the filter bag during the coke dust removal process is used as a coating, so that the tar and dust sucked into the flue gas during the coal process cannot directly contact the filter bag. Coking dust removal and coal loading dust removal operate alternately, and the filter bag is used for a long time without adhesive blockage.

The dust removal system of the coking plant consists of centrifugal fans, pulse bag dust collectors, frequency converters, instrument systems, circulating cooling water systems, ash conveying systems, compressed air systems, and pipe network systems. During the coking process, smoke and dust are sucked into the dust removal main pipe through a conduit, and large particles of dust are separated in the heat storage cooling fire extinguisher (gravity dust collector) and directly flow into the ash hopper. After the small dust enters the middle box of the bag filter uniformly, it adsorbs onto the outer surface of the filter bag. The dusty gas enters the clean air chamber after being filtered by the filter bag and is discharged into the atmosphere through the exhaust pipe. The dust cleaning device opens the electronic pulse jet according to the differential pressure program, and when the resistance of the filter bag reaches the limit value of 1500Pa. At this time, the compressed air shakes and adheres to the dust on the surface of the filter bag, and is discharged from the ash discharge mechanism through the ash hopper.

Due to the difference between coke oven coal smoke and ordinary flue gas, in addition to dust, coke oven coal smoke also contains raw gas, tar smoke, etc., making the flue gas purification process complex. With the joint efforts of numerous domestic environmental protection enterprises, the domestic dry bag dust removal system has been successfully applied and achieved good results. When loading coal onto the top of the coke oven in a coking plant, a large amount of dusty flue gas is generated due to the contact between the coal and the red hot furnace wall of the carbonization chamber, accounting for about 60% of the intermittent smoke diffusion in the coke oven. In order to achieve smokeless operation during coke oven loading and control the unorganized emission of dust, a coal loading truck should be set up to remove dust (accounting for about 60% of the coal loading smoke) and high-pressure ammonia smoke should be sprayed at the bridge pipe during coke oven construction (accounting for about 40% of the coal smoke).
