Side-chain (side-chain) discharge device, also known as side-chain star discharge device and side-chain lock-gas dust discharge valve, is a quantitative continuous discharge device for powder/particle materials in the powder/dust conveying and dust removal system. Due to the drive chain being arranged on the side of the housing rather than being directly connected axially, the core equipment of the sealing lock-gas system is particularly suitable for installation in short and narrow spaces.
Basic structure
Main body housing: Cast iron / Carbon steel / 304 / 316 stainless steel, with upper and lower flange interfaces;
Rotor impeller: Multi-blade star-shaped structure, with rigid/elastic blades available for selection;
Side-link drive system: The motor, reducer, chain, bearings and gear box are located away from the valve body to prevent erosion by high temperatures and dust.
Sealing components: Front and rear end cover seals, shaft seals, to prevent material leakage and air leakage.
Working principle
The powdery materials in the charging bin/dust collector are filled into the cavities between the impeller blades by their own weight.
The side chain drives the impeller to rotate smoothly.
When the material moves downward along with the blade, it is discharged by gravity.
Lock the air gap between the impeller and the casing to ensure stable negative pressure/positive pressure in the system and prevent reverse airflow.

Smooth operation, low noise, bearings/differential gears are far away from heat sources and dust, good lubrication conditions, long service life.
High sealing performance, uniform discharging, suitable for positive/negative pressure pneumatic conveying systems;
High-temperature resistant (based on actual reports) and corrosion-resistant (based on actual reports) materials can be customized (for example, up to 500℃ in high-temperature conditions);
High overload capacity, suitable for frequent start-stop and forward-reverse operations.
