Star shaped unloaders and circular unloaders are two different types of unloading equipment, with definite differences in structure, working principle, and application scenarios. The main differences between these two types of unloaders are as follows:
1. Structural design
Star shaped unloader: usually composed of rotor impeller, housing, seal, reducer, and motor with several blades. The blades of the rotor impeller are arranged in a star shape. When the rotor rotates, the material is unloaded through the gaps between the blades.
Circular unloader: The structural design of a circular unloader is different from that of a star shaped unloader, usually consisting of a circular rotor and corresponding housing. When the annular rotor rotates, it transports and unloads materials through the inner cavity.
2. Working Principle
Star shaped unloader: The material is filled in the gaps between the blades by its own weight and unloaded as the blades rotate. The star shaped unloader can discharge continuously and quantitatively, suitable for smoothly and continuously discharging dust or particles under pressure into the atmosphere.
Circular unloader: The material is conveyed and unloaded through the inner cavity of the circular rotor. When the annular rotor rotates, the material is carried into the cavity and unloaded as the rotor rotates.
3. Application scenarios
Star shaped unloader: widely used in dust removal systems, pneumatic conveying systems, mining, chemical, metallurgical, grain processing and other equipment. Especially suitable for conveying and unloading dust and small particle materials.
Circular unloader: usually used in situations where continuous and uniform discharge is required, such as some specific conveying systems and processing equipment. Circular unloaders may have advantages in certain specific application scenarios, such as requiring large capacity material conveying.
