In a screw conveyor, the friction of the material groove is caused by the gravity of the material itself; In a vertical screw conveyor, the friction of the conveying pipe wall is mainly caused by the rotational centrifugal force of the material. Spiral conveyor (mobile belt conveyor) uses the rotation of the spiral shaft of the spiral blades to make the material move relatively along the spiral surface. Due to the friction of the material groove or the wall of the conveying pipe, the material will not rotate together with the spiral, thereby advancing the axial direction of the material and achieving the conveying of the material.
Spiral conveyors have the following characteristics:

Spiral conveyors are divided into axial spiral conveyors and shaftless spiral conveyors, and their appearance is divided into U-shaped spiral conveyors and pipe spiral conveyors. Axial screw conveyor is suitable for non stick dry powder materials and small particle materials. (such as cement, fly ash, lime, grain, etc.) The shaftless screw conveyor is suitable for conveying viscous and easily entangled materials. The working principle of a screw conveyor (such as sludge, biomass, garbage, etc.) is to push the material towards the screw conveyor, so that the force that prevents the material from rotating with the blades of the screw conveyor is the weight of the material itself and the frictional resistance of the screw conveyor shell on the material. According to the different materials being transported, the surface types of the spiral blades welded on the rotating shaft of the screw conveyor include solid surface type, belt surface type, and blade surface type. The screw shaft of the screw conveyor has a thrust bearing at the end of the material movement direction, which exerts axial reaction on the screw with the material. The intermediate suspension bearing should be added when the length is long.
