Double chain scraper conveyor is a common material conveying equipment widely used in industries such as mining and coal mines. To confirm the safe operation of the double chain scraper conveyor, the following operating procedures should be developed to guide operators in using the equipment correctly and safely.

1、 Be prepared before operation

1. Operators need to have relevant job training qualifications and be familiar with the structure, working principle, and operation process of the equipment.

2. Before operation, check whether the power circuit of the equipment is normal, whether all components are intact, and whether the emergency stop device is sensitive and excellent.

3. Check if the power supply voltage of the conveyor is appropriate and confirm if the motor direction is correct.

2、 Operation process

Before operation, the debris and accumulation in the working area of the conveyor should be cleaned up to ensure that it is safe and unobstructed.

2. Lubricate and maintain the conveyor, check whether the chain, scraper, conveyor trough and other components are intact, fully lubricate the chain, and reduce friction.

3. Before starting the conveyor, ensure that all personnel have left the operating range of the conveyor and do not stand on the lower or side of the conveyor to avoid accidental injury.

When starting the conveyor, the motor speed should be gradually increased to confirm that the conveyor starts smoothly and avoid any impact on the equipment caused by sudden start-up.

During the operation of the conveyor, the operator should closely observe the operation of the equipment, pay special attention to whether the chain is loose, abnormal vibration, noise, and other phenomena, and deal with them in a timely manner.

If there is any abnormal situation with the conveyor equipment (such as chain breakage, scraper detachment, etc.), the machine should be stopped immediately and relevant maintenance personnel should be notified for handling.

When cleaning equipment or replacing scrapers, it is necessary to first cut off the power to confirm the personal safety of the operator.

When the operator leaves the operating position, the power should be cut off, the operating components should be locked, and clear safety warning signs should be set around the equipment to prevent others from operating it incorrectly.
