The valve core position of the three-way pneumatic valve is controlled by the actuator driven by air pressure, thereby achieving the switching and control of the fluid flow direction. 

The working principle of the three-way pneumatic valve is based on the control of the valve core position by the pneumatic actuator driven by air pressure. The specific process is as follows: Compressed air is connected through the air pipe to the intake port of the pneumatic head, providing power for the movement of the valve; the control system sends a signal (usually converted into an air pressure signal through an electrical converter), which is sent to the control chamber of the pneumatic head to change the internal air pressure distribution; as the air pressure in the control chamber changes, the diaphragm or piston inside the pneumatic head moves due to the pressure difference. Then the valve stem and valve core are moved to the preset position; the movement of the valve core changes the flow path of the fluid inside the valve body, achieving the control of the fluid flow direction.
