Maintenance and Precautions for Spiral Conveyor

Spiral conveyor is a type of transportation equipment. The screw conveyor has excellent performance. Spiral conveyors are not suitable for conveying materials that are prone to deterioration, high viscosity, and clumping. Spiral conveyors play an important role in concrete mixing plants. Briefly introduce the maintenance and precautions of screw conveyors.

1. Regularly check the working status of each component of the machine, pay attention to whether the fasteners are loose, and stop tightening immediately if found.

2. Please pay special attention to whether the fastening bolts of the threaded shaft fasteners are loose or detached. If found, please stop tightening immediately.

3. When operating the conveyor, do not remove the outer cover to avoid personal accidents.

4. Bearings should be regularly lubricated with oil and sealed carefully; Please adjust or replace the bearings in a timely manner to avoid the threaded shaft from descending, increasing resistance, or shaft fracture after wear.

How to adjust the trial operation after checking the screw conveyor:

1. The gap between the end face of the lifting bearing and the inner surface of the connecting flange shall not be less than 1.5mm, with a spiral diameter of 300-600mm and a gap of not less than 2mm.

2. The gap between the inner wall of the pot body and the spiral surface is mainly equal, allowing 2mm, and the bottom and gap allow 2mm.

3. The lifting bearing should be installed at the midpoint of the connecting shaft. The gap between the end face and the two spiral tube shaft end faces should be greater than 10mm (150-400mm) and 20mm (500-600).

4. During the no-load test run, if oil leakage is found in the bearing, disconnect the bearing and adjust the spring inside the sealing ring to prevent oil leakage.
