The scraper conveyor is mainly composed of a machine head, a machine body, a machine tail, and auxiliary equipment.
The head of the scraper conveyor is both the power input end and the discharge end of the entire conveyor. The head frame, electric motor, hydraulic coupling, reducer, head spindle, and sprocket components make up the head. The machine body is the coal conveying part of the conveyor, consisting of a tank body and a scraper chain. The groove body is the main body of the conveyor body, which is the supporting and guiding component for the load and scraper chain. It is welded and pressed from steel plates and divided into a middle groove, an adjusting groove, and a connecting groove. The scraper chain consists of chain links and scrapers. The tail part of the machine is composed of a tail frame, a tail shaft, a tightening device, a guide sprocket or a tail drum. The guide sprocket is used to change the direction of the scraper chain, and the tightening device is used to adjust the tightness of the scraper chain. The auxiliary devices include chain tighteners, hydraulic jacks for chutes, and sliding devices. The transmission system of the scraper conveyor adopts the form of a reduction motor connected to the head transmission shaft through chain transmission, which is more conducive to protecting the stability of the transmission system during the conveying process. This transmission reduction system is located at the head of the conveyor.
