1. If the bucket chain is severely worn out after prolonged use, it should be replaced in a timely manner. The normal operation of the hoist and the extension of its service life require frequent lubrication of each friction surface. The main lubrication parts of the bucket elevator are the transmission chain and the bearings of the transmission part.

2. Each class should check the fixing condition of each connecting plate, pin shaft, and hopper one by one.

3. Clean up the accumulated materials and debris in the tail section on a weekly basis to prevent squeezing the hopper.

4. The tension of the transmission chain should be adjusted regularly, and the tension of the two transmission chains should be consistent.

5. If the middle groove cast stone slab is found to be loose or detached during use, it should be cleaned immediately to avoid jamming the chain.

6. After a period of use, the bucket chain will experience varying degrees of wear and tear. When the bucket chain is too loose, it should be adjusted irregularly through the tensioning device to confirm that the equipment is running in good condition, because the distance between the scraper bottom of the hopper or the chain winding on both sides of the head wheel is inconsistent.

7. If the bucket chain is severely worn out for a long time, it should be replaced in a timely manner. To avoid different lengths of the two bucket chains of the hoist, replace the chain plates of both bucket chains at the same time. Firstly, open the inspection hole cover of the tail section, remove the chain plate at the tail, temporarily fix the bucket chain with a steel wire rope, and then remove the bucket chain to prevent it from slipping off due to disassembly. Tie the bucket chain with a brown rope and assign a dedicated person to press the coupling between the motor and the reducer with a wooden bar. Tie the bucket chain of the return section with a steel wire rope, and then pull it down. Then, slowly release the gate, gradually loosen the steel wire rope, and remove the remaining bucket chain.

8. Lubrication of rolling bearings. Using calcium sodium based grease, if produced in three consecutive shifts and replaced every three months, the service life can be appropriately extended or shortened according to the situation.

9. When tightening the screw, it should be coated with grease and wrapped in paper to prevent it from falling into dust.

10. When the screw of the tensioning hoist cannot rotate, it should be replaced.

11. Regularly check the oil level in the reducer. After replacing the gearbox or some of its gears, all the lubricating oil should be replaced after 500 hours of operation. For the elevator reducer that works continuously for a long time, it should be replaced every three months; If the temperature rises by more than 60 degrees Celsius or 85 degrees Celsius during use, replace the lubricating oil before use.

12. Bucket elevator; Minor repairs every six months and major repairs every two years. Minor repairs include replacing lubricating oil, checking the sealing performance of transmission gears and rolling bearings. In addition to minor repairs, major repairs also require dismantling and disassembling all parts for inspection, repair, or replacement. Especially if the transmission gear has any of the following conditions, it should be scrapped: cracks; 30% of tooth surface pitting and 10% of tooth thickness; The wear of the meshing gear reaches 10% of the original tooth thickness, and the wear percentage of other gears reaches 20% of the original tooth thickness.
