1. Product Overview

Electro-hydraulic slide gate valve, also known as electro-hydraulic flat gate valve, is a straight-through shut-off valve powered by electro-hydraulic push rod. It is mainly used for powder, granular materials, flue gas and air ducts. Combining the automation of electric control with the high thrust and stable operation of hydraulic drive, this valve is widely applied for pipeline cut-off and isolation in environmental protection, metallurgy, power, chemical, building material and other industrial fields.

2. Main Structure

  • Valve Body: Box or frame type structure, welded by carbon steel or stainless steel. It features high rigidity, anti-deformation performance and low flow resistance.

  • Gate Plate: Made of 304/316 stainless steel with flat sealing surface and cutting edge. It can cut sundries and keep the sealing surface clean automatically.

  • Electro-Hydraulic Actuator: Integrated with motor, hydraulic pump, oil cylinder and control valve group. It provides large thrust, self-locking function and overload protection.

  • Sealing System: Combined flexible packing and metal/soft sealing pair, which is high temperature resistant, wear-resistant and with low leakage rate.

  • Guide & Support Assembly: Equipped with wear-resistant slide rails and limit devices to ensure stable operation and prevent deviation of the gate plate.

3. Working Principle

  1. Upon receiving opening or closing signal, the motor drives the hydraulic pump to build up oil pressure.

  2. Pressurized oil flows into the oil cylinder through control valves. The push rod extends and retracts to drive the gate plate to move horizontally.

  3. The passage is fully open when the gate retracts, and completely isolated when the gate closes. Flow regulation can be realized by adjusting the stroke.

  4. The relief valve provides overload protection. The valve stays locked hydraulically after positioning, and the gate will not move even in case of power failure.

6. Application
