Product Overview
The stainless steel screw conveyor is a sealed continuous conveying equipment designed based on the Archimedean screw principle. It is mainly made of 304 or 316L stainless steel, featuring excellent corrosion resistance, no pollution, easy cleaning and fully dust-tight performance.
It is applicable for horizontal, inclined and small-angle material conveying. Widely used in food processing, pharmaceutical, chemical, environmental protection, feed and building material industries, it is specially designed for closed conveying of powder, granular and small lump materials, fully meeting the requirements of clean production and environmental protection working conditions.
Working Principle
Driven by the drive device, the screw shaft and spiral blades rotate at a constant speed. Materials fall into the trough from the feed inlet. Relying on self-gravity and friction with the trough wall, materials will not rotate together with the blades. The rotating blades generate axial thrust to push materials forward steadily and continuously along the casing, and materials are finally discharged from the outlet.
The whole conveying process is fully sealed with no dust overflow or material spilling, realizing uninterrupted feeding, conveying and batching operation.
Structural Composition
The machine features compact structure, mainly consisting of drive unit, motor reducer, coupling, screw shaft, spiral blade, U-type trough or tubular casing, hanger bearing, end bearing, shaft end seal, feed inlet and discharge outlet.
With modular design, it is easy to disassemble and install. Hanger bearings are equipped for long-distance conveying. The shaft end adopts multi-sealing structure to effectively prevent material leakage and dust ingress, ensuring stable operation and low failure rate.
