Electric butterfly valve consists of valve body and electric actuator. The electric actuator drives disc rotating 90° to open, close or regulate pipeline flow. Available in cast iron, cast steel and stainless steel body, with rubber, PTFE or metal sealing. Widely applied in water supply, waste water, dust removal, flue gas desulfurization, HVAC and chemical industry.Two main connection types: Wafer butterfly valve, Flanged butterfly valve.
Working Principle
After receiving electric control signal, the actuator drives stem and disc to rotate from 0° to 90°.0° position: disc seals pipeline fully closed;90° position: disc parallels medium flow fully open;Intermediate angle realizes flow regulation.
