The core structure of a scraper conveyor mainly consists of several parts
The core structure of a scraper conveyor mainly includes: head, tail, intermediate groove, scraper chain, and tightening device.
Head: The head is the power part of the scraper conveyor, mainly including the motor, hydraulic coupling (or reducer), frame, sprocket assembly, blind shaft, and tightening device. The motor drives the sprocket assembly to rotate through a hydraulic coupling (or reducer), thereby driving the scraper chain to move in the groove.
Tail: The tail is responsible for the stable end of the scraper conveyor, mainly composed of the tail frame, tail drum, and tensioning device. The tensioning device is used to adjust the tightness of the scraper chain to confirm that the chain runs smoothly in the groove.
Intermediate tank: The intermediate tank is the main working component of the scraper conveyor, used to carry materials. The tank body is welded from steel plates and has a certain strength and stiffness. The smooth inner wall of the tank reduces the resistance of materials during transportation. There is a feeding port above the tank and a discharging port below, and the material is discharged from the discharging port under the drive of the scraper chain.
Scraper chain: Scraper chain is a key component of scraper conveyor, consisting of scraper, chain and connecting parts. The scraper is fixed on the chain to push the material to move inside the tank. The chain is made of high alloy steel, with good tensile strength and wear resistance (based on actual reports).
Tightening device: The tightening device is used to adjust the tightness of the scraper chain and protect the smooth operation of the chain in the groove. The tightening device usually consists of a tightening device, a tightening sprocket, and a tightening spring
